The German Red Cross - Meiningen District Association is the operator of 34 childcare facilities in the districts of Schmalkalden-Meiningen and Wartburgkreis.

To strengthen the "Weltendecker" childcare facility in Stadtlengsfeld,

we are looking for a manager (m/f/d) from January 1st, 2023

full-time or part-time

State-recognized educators; special needs educators; special education teachers; Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or similar qualifications, as well as other professionals according to -16 ThürKigaG.

Your tasks would include:

  • Ensuring and continuously improving the quality of educational work with children, as well as the quality of the relationship with parents and families
  • Managing the childcare facility as a social enterprise
  • Caring for and promoting children aged one to six/ten years, based on the Thuringian Education Plan
  • Planning and implementing educational tasks
  • Observing and documenting children's developmental processes
  • Trustful cooperation with the operator, the community, colleagues, and parents
  • Collaboration with local associations, primary schools, etc.
