Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented License Compliance Manager to join our growing team.

The License Compliance Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers are utilizing their licenses in accordance with contractual agreements.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a deep understanding of licensing contracts, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal teams and external clients.


Responsibilities:


  • Monitor customer accounts to ensure compliance with licensing contracts, terms, and conditions. Conduct regular audits and assessments to verify proper usage and identify any discrepancies or potential violations.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for license compliancerelated inquiries and issues from customers. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, providing guidance and support to ensure adherence to licensing agreements.
  • Review and interpret licensing contracts, agreements, and terms to understand licensing entitlements, restrictions, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with legal and sales teams to clarify contract terms and resolve any ambiguities.
  • Educate customers on license compliance obligations, best practices, and strategies for optimizing license usage. Develop and deliver training materials, webinars, and workshops to increase awareness and promote compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze compliance reports, metrics, and trends to track compliance levels, identify areas of risk, and make recommendations for improvement. Present findings to internal stakeholders and contribute insights to strategic decisionmaking.
  • Investigate and resolve license compliance issues, disputes, and escalations in a timely and professional manner. Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer success, and legal, to address customer concerns and negotiate resolutions.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance license compliance processes, tools, and workflows. Implement best practices and automation solutions to improve efficiency and accuracy in compliance monitoring and reporting.

Job Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, legal studies, or related field.
  • 35 years of experience in license compliance management, contract management, or related field, preferably in a software or technology company.
  • Strong understanding of software licensing models, contract law, and compliance principles.
  • Experience successfully negotiating contract terms
  • Demonstrated ability to manage tight deadlines and prioritize workloads with a high degree of accuracy in a fastpaced environment.
  • Demonstrates an executive presence and interpersonal communication skills, and wellhoned influencing skills.
  • High level of integrity and principles that embrace transparency.
  • Selfstarter with tireless work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail
