- Develop system level architecture to meet customer mission requirements
- Act as Chief Mechanical Engineer for specific programs
- Engage with customers, partners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to showcase technical capabilities
- Contribute to future roadmapping for both company and customer missions
- Lead teams of 10-25 engineers
- Provide support to project leads as necessary to maintain development schedules
- Participate in cross-functional working groups
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, customer programs, and partners
- Make critical technical and programmatic decisions
- Bachelor's Degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of related experience
- Top Secret/SCI clearance with a favorable polygraph
- Prior involvement in specified program areas
- Proficiency in CAD tools and understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing standards
- Extensive knowledge of precision mechanisms and hardware development
- Background in design or development of precision mechanisms and mechatronic systems
- Experience in additive manufacturing, part optimization, and design for manufacture and assembly
- Familiarity with actuators, fluid systems, electro-optical systems, and manufacturing processes
