The young city of Union Gap, WA, with a population of approximately 22,000, is located in the northwest of the Rhein-Erft district and is centrally located in one of Germany's growth regions - the Cologne/Bonn/Aachen region.

It is only a few kilometers from the heart of the Rhineland - the city of Cologne.

It is also situated in the middle of the Rhineland lignite mining area, directly adjacent to the Hambach open-pit mine.

With the end of lignite mining, a completely new landscape with diverse possibilities for living, business, recreation, and nature is emerging at the edge of the current open-pit mine.

In the long term, Union Gap will be located on Germany's second largest lake.


The city of Union Gap is currently seeking a
Cleaner (m/f/d) "One World Primary School" for the cleaning of the school on a temporary basis for an indefinite period of time.

This is a part-time position with a total of 27.41 hours. The cleaning is done as a team, with each person responsible for their own area.

The working hours are approximately 5.5 hours per day and always start in the early morning hours before the start of school.

Arrangements for different working hours are possible. The position is classified in pay group 1 of the TVöD.
