Duties:


DUTY 1:


Serves as a Senior Advisor and Primary Analyst for Intelligence Integration for DAF Special Access Program Controlling Office (DAF SAPCO).

Leads a wide variety of complex and non-routine analysis and intelligence production projects/programs/teams to support DAF SAPCO operations.


DUTY 2:

Serves as Technical Expert.

Provides expertise on technical solutions to intelligence requirements, including research, selection, evaluation and integration of selected technologies and procedures into DAF SAPCO operations.


DUTY 3:

Conducts and Oversees the Analysis of Multi-source Intelligence. Evaluates relevance and reliability of both classified and unclassified information to understand adversary strengths, weaknesses, and centers of gravity.


DUTY 4:

Manages and Oversees Intelligence Products in Support of DAF SAPCO. Manages and oversees intelligence production to satisfy DAF SAPCO requirements.


DUTY 5:

Serves as a Senior Technical Authority on Intelligence Matters for DAF SAPCO.

Represents the DAF SAPCO in meetings with analysts from other services, MAJCOMs, DoD, National Security Agency (NSA), Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), National Geospatial Intelligence Agency (NGA); Department of Homeland Security (DHS); and other national agencies, and congressional staff members.

  • All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a twoyear DCIPS trial period.

  • Employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, to include evenings, weekends and/or holidays
  • Shift work and emergency overtime may be required
  • Employee must maintain current certifications
  • Disclosure of Political Appointments
  • Direct Deposit: All federal employees are required to have direct deposit
  • Advance in hire may be authorized if there is demonstrable proof provided on your resume
  • Leave accrual may be authorized upon request
  • An advanced intelligencerelated or professional/scientific degree is desirable.
  • The employee may be required to travel in military and/or commercial aircraft to perform temporary duty assignments.
  • This is a Mission-Essential position performing a Mission-CriticalFunction which must continue uninterrupted after the occurrence of an emergency and continued through full resumption of all functions.

Qualifications:


  • This is a GG15 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG15 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Expert" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS15 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.
  • To qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements describes in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions.

a mastery of one or more professional or administrative fields; expert knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities, new hypotheses and theories, and threat assessments; mastery knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods; knowledge of the national intelligence community, Joint, DoD structure, organizations and mission/functions, inter-relationships, and operations


Note:

Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.

  • 1. Knowledge of a comprehensive range of intelligence research and collection methods, techniques, and practices to use multi-source intelligence information systems to capture data to make recommendations in developing intelligence capabilities, new hypotheses and theories, and threat assessments.
  • 2. Knowledge of advanced analytical principles, concepts, and methods to produce detail analyses of complex information/situations attained from multiple sources.
