This includes helping clients comply with laws and regulations, responding to regulatory scrutiny, and representing them in high-profile ESG-related lawsuits around the world.

Role Summary/Purpose of Job

As a Knowledge Lawyer at
Freshfields, you will bring deep expertise and a commitment to continuously develop in this field.

Your main responsibilities will include:

Enabling the firm to provide top-notch client service: This involves tracking and sharing updates and analysis on key developments, taking a practical and commercially-minded approach to help our lawyers understand the impact on clients and our work. You will also work closely with lawyers in the practice and other Knowledge colleagues to share relevant insights from client matters.

Contributing to the growth of the firm: You will help raise the profile of the practice and strengthen client relationships by identifying opportunities for client content, developing it, and contributing to publications and client conversations. This will also involve collaborating with colleagues in other areas such as marketing, business development, and learning and development.

Developing the legal skills of our lawyers: You will provide internal training and act as a resource for legal queries, helping to upskill our lawyers in this constantly evolving area of law.
