Your tasks:


Your responsibilities include the following tasks:

  • Development of urban, functional, and design concepts for buildings, building groups, campuses, and cross-campus complexes at KIT, from project idea to realization
  • Conducting environment and stakeholder analyses for the planned location, including creating usage scenarios considering urban planning aspects and alignment with the Building Development Plan
  • Preparation of decisionready proposals and related documents for internal and external committees, including wellfounded and reliable decision recommendations
  • Development and updating of uniform (construction/building development) processes
  • Participation in the identification and description of fundamental requirements for buildings in terms of function, design, and costeffectiveness
  • Consulting users, internal service units, committees, and employees on questions regarding land and buildings

Your qualifications:


  • You have a completed university degree (Diploma (Uni) / Master) in architecture or civil engineering, ideally with a focus on urban planning or building project development.
  • We expect several years of professional experience in the development and/or planning of construction projects in the fields of administration, R&D, university, industry, and laboratory buildings, including renovations and special buildings.
  • Required are technical knowledge in the field of civil engineering, planning and design in building construction, and land development
