- Scheduling sheet metal fabrication jobs
- Oversight of production for productivity, proper techniques and craftsmanship, and adherence to shop drawings
- Monitoring progress towards completion for each project
- Training and supervision of sheet metal department staff
- Maintenance of sheet metal production and finishing equipment
- Adherence to and enforcement of company safety policies and procedures
- Reporting and record-keeping
- At least ten years of sheet metal fabrication experience required
- Minimum of five years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Hands-on experience operating the following:
- CNC turret punch
- CNC press brake
- Hydraulic shear / shearing machine
- Experience in production line powder coating operations
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS excel
- Ability to communicate clearly in written and verbal form
