- Participate in scope of work generation of survey and/or right of way projects for transportation, environmental, Dams and water service lines.
- Perform scope review/ generation and QA/QC of surveys and right of way plans performed by AECOM and its subcontractors.
- Writing of technical proposals, and the negotiation of price and scope.
- Manages and coordinates surveys and investigations, perform survey computations.
- Ensures compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements, including boundary calculations and legal issues.
- Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget
- Acts as advisor to land surveying team regarding projects, tasks, and operations.
- May participate in proposal efforts and business development activities.
- Supervise, assign, and direct the Survey and Right of Way staff in Ohio for the execution of the work to accomplish the project goals, and AECOM's financial goals.
- Bachelor's degree plus eight (8) years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent training and experience
- Professional Land Surveyor License, Ohio
- 5+ years of task and project management experience
- Progressive background in field survey and Right of Way and/or Land Survey Plat development.
- Must have experience in the design of Right of Way plans and/or Land Survey Plats. This includes being knowledgeable in the use of MicroStation/InRoads and/or Autodesk Civil3D.
- Experience supervising survey crews and/or CAD technicians.
- Experience with Trimble GPS, Total Stations, and digital levels
- Qualified applicants will have experience coordinating with engineering to resolve any project issues that may arise.
- This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
- The selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment Motor Vehicle Registration Screening (MVR).
