Responsibilities:

  • Installation of client and server systems
  • Maintenance of client and server systems
  • Backup and recovery of databases, archiving of data
  • System administration of NAS systems from various manufacturers, some based on Linux
  • Maintenance and upkeep of databases (including monitoring)
  • Analysis and evaluation of reports and reporting of security incidents
  • Management of external service providers for maintenance work
  • Documentation and updating of system and operating manuals
  • Troubleshooting, monitoring, and system monitoring to ensure smooth operation
  • Consulting and project management for interface requirements with central systems
  • Consulting and project management for the implementation of new systems
  • Contact person for hardware and software partners
  • Ensuring maintenance contracts for software and hardware
  • And more.

Requirements:

  • Vocational training as a Systems Engineer (m/f/d) or comparable education or degree
  • Relevant professional experience in the abovementioned areas
  • Structured and independent work style, assertiveness
  • Customer orientation, teamwork, and flexibility
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken
