Your Role
The main department Weapon System Integration Rigs is responsible for all test facilities for avionics, flight control, and hydraulics for the qualification and certification of the respective systems. It provides services from concept design to detailed planning, development and qualification of test facilities, as well as in-service and operation. In addition, special Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGEs) and Rig Support Equipment are developed.
- Creation of test procedures
- Conducting tests and creating test reports
- Supporting systems engineering
- Familiarization with the existing hardware development process
- Taking over module/specific detail development
- Assisting with continuous obsolescence management
- Supporting the creation of the overall concept for cabinet wiring, power supply, and emergency stop system
- Assisting with the creation of the overall system concept, taking into account requirements such as functionality, capability retention, product safety, ergonomics, etc.
- Assisting with the development of qualification and test requirements
- Assisting with the creation of development-specific documentation (SPEC, PDR/CDR documentation, etc.)
- Assisting with the creation of purchase lists for procurement
- Occasional takeover of production supervision at the module/cabinet level
