    Join our team and help us continue to make Cirrus Logic an exceptional place to grow your career You will be part of the Applications Engineering team based in Chandler, Arizona focused on bringing leading-edge Power and Mixed Signal devices to market.

    This position plays a fundamental role in bringing to market next-generation devices for our growing power and battery management business by ensuring that our customers can easily and effectively integrate our devices into their end products.

    This exciting job will offer you the opportunity to support customers during the complete life cycle of new product development, integration into the customer's end device, and final sustaining support.

    ResponsibilitiesCollaborate and communicate closely with tier 1 customers, marketing, and internal engineering teams to define, architect, and create collateral for customer use cases for complex IC designsProvide direct engineering support for Cirrus Logic customers and field personnelDevelop reference designs and demonstration platformsDevelop application notes, white papers, demo-board, and reference-design manualsExecute customer-application-focused data collection and circuit analysisContribute to next-generation product definitionAutonomously manage tasks and prioritiesTravel approximately 5 weeks per year, domestically and abroad Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industryExperience with integrated switched-cap converter, DC-to
    • DC switching buck and/or boost converters, and battery chargersDemonstrated aptitude in system understanding of various industry interface standards such as I2C, SPI, USB, UART, I2S or high speed control/data bus examplesExperience in component selection, schematic entry, and knowledge of PCB layout designFamiliarity with scripting/programming languages such as Verilog, C, Python, MATLAB or similarSolid hands on experience in lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and specialized power suppliesProven experience debugging customer system level issuesEffective interpersonal skills, with a track record of interacting directly with customersThe candidate needs to be a strong team player, and have extensive experience working with cross functional teams that include design, systems, PTE, FA, and program management to drive progress for their productPreferred Skills and QualificationsMS in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of relevant experienceDemonstrated experience in the design and development of power solutions in PC applications (Desktop/Laptop).
    Experience in mobile and or automotive power is also a plus#LI-CC1 #LI-HybridDiversity drives innovation at Cirrus Logic.
