Job Description:


The Work in the County of Verden (ALV) Public Law Institution carries out qualification and support projects for beneficiaries to reintegrate people of different nationalities into the vocational and labor market.

In addition, beneficiaries are provided with pedagogical support according to the Social Code II and VIII as well as the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act.

Furthermore, on October 1, 2023, the ALV will launch a Welcome Center in Verden and Osterholz-Scharmbeck.

In the first step, the project will support migrants and asylum seekers from the counties of Verden and Osterholz in their journey towards the labor and training market.

In the future, the target group will be expanded to include people who are employed but do not have a recognized professional qualification in Germany.

In this context, the ALV is currently seeking to strengthen its counseling team with a

Counselor (m/f/d)

part-time or full-time

The position will initially be limited for the duration of the project. An extension is desired.


Your responsibilities:

  • Supporting at least 150 migrants and asylum seekers over a period of two years in their job search, recognition of qualifications, and other training opportunities
  • Documenting support measures in digital files
  • Collaborating on the development and implementation of a concept for testing an information day for companies in cooperation with various network partners, especially the economic development agency
  • Introducing small and mediumsized companies to foreign skilled workers,
