At the Leibniz Institute for Natural Product Research and Infection Biology (Leibniz-HKI), we research the pathobiology of microorganisms and investigate targets for the development of new natural product based drugs.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Medical Assistant (m/f/div) to join our research group in Infection Immunology as a Study Assistant (m/f/div) to support our team, initially for two years with the possibility of extension.

We are a motivated team of international scientists and offer a diverse range of tasks, a great working atmosphere, and an excellently equipped work environment.

Responsibilities include:

Blood collection from outpatient and inpatient patients
Preparation and shipment of biological samples
Organization of sample transport
Data documentation in written and electronic form
Preparation and scheduling of patient sample collection
Coordination of data exchange and meetings between the hospital and laboratory
Blood collection for serum isolation for research purposes in the laboratory What you ideally bring:
Successfully completed vocational training, preferably as a Medical Documentation Assistant (m/f/div), Study Nurse (m/f/div), or Medical (Specialist)

Assistant (m/f/div) - Basic medical knowledge and understanding of medical processes - Very good computer skills in MS Office and databases; SAP knowledge is desirable - Independent working - Flexibility in working hours - Friendly and confident demeanor towards patients and medical staff - Good English skills in spoken and written form, very good German skills We offer:
