Duties:


  • You will serve as a Lead system administrator, managing/directing/coordinating the development, implementation and maintenance of comprehensive systems.
  • You will serve as a Lead to coordinate activities related to Information Systems projects.
  • You will coordinate and review requirements and/or initiatives that introduce new technology.
  • You will provide training/instruction (mentoring) to Systems Administrators and other users.

  • This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role System Administrator, proficiency level Advanced. The incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications:


  • Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

  • 2) Provides training/instruction, consultation, mentoring and support services to System Administrators and/or end users, etc.;
  • 3) Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software issues on serves, workstations and IT equipment; and
  • 4) Evaluating and recommending adoption of new/enhanced approaches to the delivery IT services and products to customers.
