Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrics and Gynecology Patient Care Manager to join our team. As a Patient Care Manager, you will direct, supervise, and coordinate the clinical operations for the OB/GYN department. This schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. This position is eligible for student loan repayment with the National Nurse Corps program.


Duties:


  • Maintains the standards of nursing care & implements clinical procedures accordingly.
  • Audit patient charts, provider schedules, nurse visits, etc. to ensure proper paperwork and/or charting is completed, quality measures are being recorded, and follow thru is completed.
  • Monitors, collects and report UDS data timely and accurately.
  • Orders supplies as needed and monitors or delegates inventory of supplies.
  • Manage staff and PTO schedules and adjust staffing when necessary due to call offs or other emergencies.
  • Promotes and participates in Patient Centered Medical Home activities by promoting the clinic's integrated healthcare model in order to achieve and maintain level 3 NCQA PCMH recognition.

Requirements:


  • Completion of RN or BSN program.
  • 3 years of work experience in a medical office and/or outpatient services environment preferred.
  • 3 years of management experience
  • Strong knowledge of obstetric and gynecologic procedures, techniques, and protocols
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to patients in various stages of life
  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic medical records systems

Pay:
$77, $102,000.00 per year
