We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant (M/F/o) to join our team in the heart of Berlin.


Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements according to German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS
  • Create notes for financial statements and management reports
  • Prepare VAT and CIT filings with support from external tax advisors
  • Complete monthly and annual statistical filings
  • Assist with the annual audit process and provide highquality audit schedules and documentation to external auditors
  • Play a key role in monthly, quarterly, and yearend financial close, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and accruals
  • Support cash forecast preparation and working capital optimization
  • Process factoring transactions and reconciliations
  • Collaborate closely with HQ accounting and tax teams, as well as the internal Global Finance Support center in Bulgaria
  • Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes
  • Work on improving process documentation
