Saying Goodbye

Last night I lost a very good friend to cancer...He fought it with every ounce of his being, right up to his last breath. Even as he passed, he went out kicking and screaming...He so loved life! The following is something I wrote for a young lady in our community who also lost her valiant battle with cancer last summer...It was actually channeled by me on the day she passed...I have always given her beautiful soul the credit for this lovely message. This is for you my dear friend Tad...I love you with all my heart...and will miss your amazing smile and laughter;-) Rest in peace...

It is ok to cry...that is how you feel your grief. You must experience it by allowing yourself to feel it....You must feel it to heal it.

Your feelings are the ripples in my ocean....Pouring your heart out feeds my ocean with LOVE...KNOW YOU WILL ALL RETURN TO MY OCEAN.

The intensity of your grief will pass, but it never fully goes away. We experience grief over and over in our lives because we are emotional beings...That is what makes us special.

Teach your children how to grieve...The sadness is confusing to them, especially when a child dies.

Cry with them...hold them...share your tears with them. Trying to stay strong to spare them your tears will only confuse them further.

The tears you cry are your LOVE...give of it freely as you go through your experience of life. It is the gift you give to the world...I LOVE YOU ALL.
