CSCMP is a great group that I was active in the past with.  Currently I am more involved with the APICS Board here in Savannah, Georgia Manufacturing Alliance, Savannah Traffic Club, Coastal WorkSource Board-reports into Savannah Mayors Office, and work as a Advisory Board Member for Georgia HDCI High Demand Career Initiative- Web site link here:  http://www.georgia.org/competitive-advantages/workforce-division/programs-initiatives/high-demand-career-initiative-hdci/ .  I wanted to share this info below that was posted by CSCMP. 

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) Certification Committee is recruiting new committee volunteers who are excited about getting involved and committed to the continued advancement of the supply chain discipline and the professionals that serve within it.

The Certification Committee is seeking four to six individuals to join the committee as members-at-large. SCPro Certification is one of CSCMP's Strategic Initiatives, because of its ability to enhance CSCMP’s global presence, boost membership, and facilitate engagement across an individual’s career.

Requirements
Serving on a CSCMP committee is a member-only benefit. You must be a CSCMP member to submit your application.
If you're not currently a member, but are interested in joining the Certification Committee, please complete your membership here.
Please note that CSCMP members with a history of CSCMP event attendance (local roundtable, CSCMP EDGE Conference, etc.) or volunteer participation will receive first preference.
How to Apply 
Simply complete the Online CSCMP Form by March 16, 2018 at 11:59 pm CT and you will receive a phone call from a committee member to discuss your application.
