Reconnecting with Nature
This summer the goal is to make more time to reconnect with nature. During the academic year, things get very hectic with assignments and other responsibilities. Give yourself permission to unplug temporarily and get outside! Discover the parks in your area. They offer many opportunities to explore, participate in new activities, and connect with other humans. While in nature, take a journal and write about what you experience. Use your five senses to describe the environment around you. Nature is a great topic to write about that allows you to think about life in many different ways. What is your favorite part about being outside in nature? How does nature inspire you?
