6 Restaurants You Must Visit in New Jersey

Are you looking for a great restaurant to visit in the New Jersey area? Whether you’re a local or planning a trip to New Jersey soon, there are plenty of restaurants here that are worth your time. Here are my top six choices for places to eat in New Jersey.
El Cid in Paramus, NJ
If you like Spanish food, you must visit El Cid next time you’re in New Jersey. El Cid is a gourmet restaurant where you can enjoy authentic-tasting foods from Spain. Although the atmosphere is upscale, you don’t need to dress up or make reservations to visit El Cid. You can even bring the kids with you if you’d like!
Greek City in Ramsey, NJ
Greek City is the destination for classic Greek food. You can find the most traditional of Greek dishes here, many of which are served in individual clay pots. And for more good news, if you don’t have time to eat in, the entire menu is available for take-out!
Novelli in Wayne, NJ
Who doesn’t love a great Italian restaurant? Novelli serves excellent Italian cuisine and offers a superb wine selection to complement it. You can check out their entire menu on their website and make reservations to ensure you have a table waiting for you.
La Isla in Hobokenr, NJ
La Isla is the place to visit if you want a taste of traditional Cuban food made from fresh, authentic ingredients. The restaurant has been a staple in the community since 1970 and has achieved “local cult status,” according to La Isla’s website. You’ll love the large portion sizes, the relaxed atmosphere, and incredible value.
Kenko Sushi in Lincoln Park, NJ
This place is a Sushi-lovers dream. Kenko Sushi was voted one of Yelp’s Top 100 Places to Eat in 2017, and it’s not to be missed! Kenko Sushi is known for its “high-quality fusion Japanese food.” Be aware, though, they are closed on Sunday and Monday, so be sure to visit Tuesday through Saturday.
Jimmy Geez in Oak Ridge, NJ
If you prefer American-style food, Jimmy Geez is the place for you. This sports bar is a great place to get some wings or a good, old-fashioned burger. They have plenty of fun events to keep you entertained, and of course, you can always stop by to cheer on your favorite sports teams with the other patrons.
No matter what kind of cuisine you prefer, you can find it in New Jersey. I hope you take the time to visit some of these destinations soon!
