Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchasing Agent to join our team.

The Purchasing Agent will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, and managing inventory to ensure the timely delivery of goods.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with business objectives
  • Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and delivery speed
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
  • Coordinate with production planning to ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Implement inventory control measures to optimize stock levels and minimize waste

Experience:


  • Proven experience as a Purchasing Agent or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain systems and materials management
  • Familiarity with inventory control systems
  • Ability to negotiate effectively and secure costefficient contracts
  • Experience in supply chain management and production planning is a plus

Pay:
$57, $60,775.00 per year
