- The General Manager is in charge of overseeing the operations of the assigned property to ensure excellent performance and ongoing enhancements in five key areas: guest service, employees, sales/marketing, property appearance, and profit/financial control.
- Maximize revenue and manage property expenses to maximize the bottom line profit.
- Assist in the creation of property budgets and forecasts.
- Handle and oversee financial activities, including the reconciliation of accounts and managing collections.
- Participate in monthly inventory management and ensure purchases are within budget.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing to drive sales activities and meet revenue goals.
- Recruit and train employees following company/brand standards.
- 1-3 years of experience in hospitality management.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer and software knowledge, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and hotel management systems.
