For the
Academy for Social Pedagogy in
Bayreuth, Batavia, MT, we are looking for a teacher (m/f/d) to start on
September 1, 2023, initially on a fixed-term basis for two years, in
part-time / on a freelance basis (approx.

20%, i.e. 8 weekly hours / 5 teaching hours per week).


The position is initially limited, as it depends on the approval of a teaching permit by the school supervisory authority.

We strive for a permanent position, as employee retention and

comparable qualifications. We will gladly check your suitability or approval eligibility on an individual basis.


Your responsibilities

  • Planning and conducting classes
  • Creating and evaluating performance assessments and exams
  • Participation in teacher and exam conferences
  • Participation in school events

Your profile

  • Teaching degree for high schools in English or
  • Teaching degree for vocational schools with a second subject in English or
  • Degree (Master's / Magister's / Diploma) in English studies
  • Excellent language skills in German
  • Enthusiasm for teaching and the field of work
  • Identification with the mission statement of GGSD
