Description
Tosa Pediatrics is an independently owned practice that serves children and their families in the greater Milwaukee area.

Named "Top Choice in Pediatrics" by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel for 6 years, the clinic aims to provide the best in pediatric care while maintaining the personal touch of a small group practice.


Hours: 9am - 5/5:30pm and one Saturday per month 8am-11am.

The position offers paid holidays, PTO package, amazing 401k retirement plan.

The position does not offer health, dental or vision benefits.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare patient rooms and assist physicians with exams and procedures
  • Measure and record vital signs including height, weight, blood pressure, etc
  • Administers and documents routine medications including immunizations, antibiotics, and intramuscular medication injections.
  • Conducts COVID testing, runs appropriate test and contacts patients with test results.
  • Assist with processing prescription refills
  • Perform capillary phlebotomy and process inhouse labs or cultures
  • Maintain confidentiality of all patient and organization information and follow HIPAA regulations

Qualifications:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Medical Assistant program
  • One to five years of experience; pediatric experience is a plus
  • Excellent skills in verbal and written communication
  • Ability to perform detailed work in a fastpaced environment
