Regulatory Compliance Associate - New York, United States - Concepts in Time

Description

• Maintain, develop, and implement compliance programs, policies, and practices.
• Work closely with third party testing companies.
• Identify new regulatory compliance issues that require followup and implementation.
• Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities.
• Cross communicate with employees and suppliers on compliancerelated topics, policies, or procedures.
• Schedule product for chemical and performance testing and maintain testing calendars for all customers.
• Input test requests for Walmart through the UL platform.
• Work with Inspectorio for scheduling Bureau Veritas inspections for Walmart private label brands.
• Work with third party testing and inspection companies on timing and requirements.
• Work with Bureau Veritas Inspect system for scheduling national brand inspections.
• Create General Certificate of Conformity for product shipments.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a compliance role.
• Experience with Walmart's operations, systems, and processes, as related to compliance is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of US compliance regulations, including Reese's Law and Prop 65, is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of EU compliance regulations and product requirements including Reach and RoHS is desirable.
• Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.
• Proficient in technology and systems used in compliance and testing. Experience with ULWercs, Inspectorio, and UL compliance testing a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience in the watch industry highly desirable.
