    Description

    Our client, a software company, is looking to fill the role of Senior Software Engineer- Backend Development. This position will be hybrid and based out of the Santa Clara office. We are seeking Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Backend Development to contribute to the design, development, and deployment of a robust and scalable cloud-based application. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a significant role in backend development, utilizing the Go language. The successful candidate will provide technical expertise, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to best practices, and demonstrate proficiency in cloud platforms, database technologies, Kubernetes, and Docker.

    Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to the design and implementation of advanced backend features using the Go language.
    • Develop scalable and maintainable endpoints for the application.
    • Ensure adherence to best practices for Go language development.
    • Demonstrate advanced expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
    • Select appropriate cloud services for backend deployment.
    • Implement advanced scalability and fault-tolerance strategies.
    • Contribute to the integration of the application with various database technologies (relational, NoSQL, etc.).
    • Design and optimize complex database queries, implement advanced indexing strategies.
    • Ensure data consistency and reliability.
    • Implement containerization using Docker for efficient deployment and scaling.
    • Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes for improved manageability.
    • Implement robust security measures in backend components.
    • Utilize advanced security protocols such as HTTPS, OAuth, and other authentication/authorization mechanisms.
    • Conduct comprehensive security assessments and ensure compliance with industry standards.
    • Develop and implement advanced unit tests for backend components.
    • Contribute to the development of sophisticated integration tests and end-to-end tests.
    • Drive the implementation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Identify and contribute to the resolution of complex performance bottlenecks in backend components.
    • Implement advanced caching mechanisms for improved performance.
    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
    • Proficiency in Go language for backend development.
    • Experience with various database systems (relational, NoSQL, etc.).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms: AWS/Azure/OCI.
    • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
    • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
