Meet Shah

I have experience in embedded systems development and designing Printed Circuit Boards and I am looking for similar roles in the industry. Some of the domains where new inventions and discovery gets me excited are IOT, PCB Manufacturing and Designing, Computer Networks and its interoperability with embedded systems.

Currently, I am close to completing one year as a Graduate Research Assistant at Robotic Systems Lab at Santa Clara University. My responsibilities are as mentioned below:

Huracan Team | C, Control Systems, PCB designing, Circuit design.
Designing an advanced low-power distributed computing system over CAN bus to drive various Underwater Autonomous Vehicles (UAV) for the US Navy and Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute (MBARI). 
Developed embedded control software and performed systems level integration between Arm Cortex M4 core and peripheral devices using I2C, SPI and UART that are required during missions of the UAV.
Spearheaded the design of the computing system PCB using Autodesk Fusion 360, incorporating design modularity to ensure compatibility with various components available in the market.
Designed the PCB for three different power lines with the capability to power switch up to 19 Amperes of current.
Negotiated with PCB manufacturers and chose optimal assembly components which lowered the cost by 60%.
Demonstrated the computing subsystems for various distributed functions on an UAV at MBARI Test Tank Facility.

I completed my bachelors in Electronics Engineering where I got to learn about circuit design, IC technology, verification methods and manufacturing process for different electronic components.

I am currently pursuing my Masters degree in Computer Science and Engineering where I am further honing my skills in the Embedded Systems & Software and Robotics & Automation domain.
