Hey there! I am a mid-level UX/UI Designer with a design background in high-end retail apps and responsive web. I have taken apps from initial ideation with the client to working with a team of developers and seeing the app go live in the app store. I thrive when I am challenged with design decisions, love to see ideas come to fruition with both a team of creatives and independently, and am continually learning how to make a positive impact on the human experience.

I am back from my European travels and am ready to jump back into creating user-friendly designs for target audiences. Although a bulk of my experience is in retail apps, I am open to other niches as well. :) Outside of my design work, you can find cuddling with cats at the animal shelter, rock climbing and conquering my fear of falling, or cooking up a new recipe from the interwebs. Mid-Level UX/UI Designer | March 2022 - September 2023

• Designed user-friendly apps in Figma and took early, iterative wireframes to successfully developed launches for several high-end retail clients such as Assos, Lorna Jane, Mimco, etc. 

• Conducted brand research and collected competitive data alongside our internal UX experts for our client Todd Snyder to identify pain points and propose new, updated designs for their responsive website.

• Collaborated with senior management, developers, PMs, business analysts, and clients to ensure all requirements and use cases were fulfilled in each of our design flows.

• Audited 100+ apps to gather data on best trending UX practices for our UX experts to later present to Meta and use for our own reference.

• Actively ran design audits on design builds in Test Flight or live apps in the App Store to catch bugs and design discrepancies to ensure our clients’ apps were constantly evolving.

Freelance Designer | March 2020 - Present

• Currently designing graphics and marketing materials for the company Bloom Forward to ensure blog images and branding remains consistent.

• Competing against 96 professional teams, I designed the UX, style guide, and high-fidelity prototype of my app “Beecoming” in a quick design sprint of 3 days and awarded Honorable Mention by the judges at Adobe.

• Curated the marketing content for my co-founded Etsy shop using Adobe Suites, Instagram, and Facebook, which resulted in 500+ followers in 2020.

• Designed 70+ illustrations and Photoshops from 2020-2021 for my personal brand and blog that aims to bring positive digital experiences to others.

• Revitalized the West Whittier Paint Company’s logo to better align with their family’s story and current branding; provided files for both web and print.

• Conducted user research through surveys and questionnaires to gauge client’s needs in design solutions.

• Created several presentation decks consisting of detail drawings, floor plans, 3D models, and renders to clearly communicate design intent and user experience to clients.

• Digitally designed and physically prototyped the company’s holiday branded packaging that was sent to 500+ of our clients.
