_Position Summary:
_


The Resource Navigator is a person with lived experience in recovery who assists people seeking placement for treatment or recovery supported housing through the Pathways of Hope program at PRCC.

The resource navigator works with participants from time of placement and continue to follow-up and offer additional support where needed.

This position is responsible for evaluation of needs, data collection, and reporting program outcomes.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
_**- Help guide participants to appropriate level of care based on the individual and person-centered values.

  • Connect people with community resources as needed within Cumberland County.
  • Locate appropriate placement and process payment requests through Cumberland County.
  • Develop and update treatment and housing resources, with updated contact information and eligibility requirements.
  • Establish effective internal working relationships and maintain strategic partnerships.
  • Research, collect, and update resources available as needed.
  • Exercise sound judgment, work independently, and take initiative while maintaining attention to detail and program integrity.
  • Keep meticulous records and follow up with participants on periodic basis.
  • Assess and compile data collected to provide quarterly and annual reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

_ Professional Qualifications:
_


  • Lived experience in recovery, minimum one year
  • Associate's degree required, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Familiarity with substance use treatment and recovery process and resources
  • Registered peer recovery coach preferred, or take Recovery Coach Academy and Ethics within six months of hire
  • Responsible and reliable with flexibility to meet changing needs
  • Strong communication skills and ability to listen well
  • Excellent personal and professional boundaries
  • Knowledge of Office 365 and proficiency with spreadsheet and data analysis for reporting

_ Work Schedule:
_

This is a full-time Monday - Friday position with occasional evenings, weekends, and travel required
