We are well established, fast growing, private dental office ready to welcome new staff member for a full time Dental Assistant position to join our friendly team.
Our office focuses on patient oriented services provided in our state-of-the-art office with a modern layout that offers a very comfortable work environment.
The available position is from Monday - Friday, NO WEEKENDS.Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
- Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
- Assist the dentist through 4handed dentistry
- Undertake lab tasks as instructed
- Provide postoperative care instructions
- Keep the dental room clean and wellstocked
- Schedule appointments
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures
Skills
- Proven experience as dental assistant
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
- Understanding of health & safety regulations
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Attention to detail
- Wellorganized and reliable
- High school diploma
License/ Certification
Radiology certification
Dental Assistant license required
