    Description
    Primary Talent Partners has a 24-month Sr. Packaging Engineer contract opening with a Fortune 500 Medical Device client located in Minneapolis, MN. Pay range is $45 to $60 per hour based on overall experience.

    Please note:
    You will be sitting on a W2 with Primary Talent Partners at an hourly basis without PTO/Benefits - We cannot provide sponsorship or accept C2C, OPT, or 1099 candidates


    Job Overview:


    Our client is a dynamic and innovative leader in the medical device industry who pride themselves on delivering high-quality products to our customers while maintaining a commitment to sustainability and excellence.

    As the company continues to grow, we are seeking a talented Packaging Engineer to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.


    Responsibilities:
    Design, develop, and test a diverse range of containers used for product protection, display, and handling.

    Determine packaging specifications based on product characteristics, cost constraints, legal requirements, and protection needs against external factors such as moisture, temperature changes, light, and tampering.

    Create package exteriors considering factors like product identification, sales appeal, aesthetic quality, and printing techniques.
    Manage documentation related to packaging designs and coordinate adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
    Provide support for prototype line development in manufacturing facilities/plants.


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
    Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
    Proficiency in packaging design software and tools.
    Strong understanding of packaging materials and their properties.
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
