    Project Engineer

    Mechanical Engineer


    Primary Duties Include:

    • Manage entire assigned project from purchase order to start-up.
    • Ensure projects develop as scheduled to meet or improve upon required ship dates.
    • Review scheduling and priority of current jobs.
    • Correspond with customers that call in with engineering/design questions.
    • Complete installation manuals.
    • Attend internal and external design review meetings.
    • Work with supervisors of engineering/manufacturing to monitor labor and material costs - identify
    areas where reductions can be made without compromising quality.

    • Prepare proposal drawings for sales department, provide input on sales quotes.
    • Maintain open communication between sales and engineering - customer is sold a system that can
    realistically be designed and manufactured, customer receives system they were sold.

    • Maintain open communication between engineering and manufacturing -designs are easily
    assembled, all parts arrive for timely delivery, designs improved through experience.

    • Perform customer service visits if scheduling conflicts dictate.
    • Assist in shop when necessary.
    • ISO standards to be followed
    Job Requirements


    Details:

    Experience Required:
    *- 5 years Project Engineering
    *AutoCad - preferably 3D - Inventor is preferred
    *Combustion Experience preferred
    *BS required-Mechanical Engineering preferred
