Engineer (m/f/d) for Custom Hardware Design for Volkswagen Projects

Location: Wolfsburg

We are currently seeking a Resident Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Volkswagen team in Wolfsburg.

As a Resident Engineer at Volkswagen, you will be responsible for the smooth operation and further development of our Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) simulators. In your daily work, you will handle short-term support cases as well as longer-term development projects.

Your tasks

Conceptualization, design and commissioning of HIL systems
Commissioning of custom circuits
Implementation of customer requirements through selection of suitable hardware components
Creation of circuit and layout diagrams using EPLAN P8
Supporting sales in the bidding phase for HIL systems
Project management

Your profile

Successfully completed degree in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification
Good knowledge of circuit and control technology as well as experience with measuring devices
Technical training is an advantage
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with EPLAN P8 is desirable
