    POSITION: Inbound Logistics Coordinator

    Scope and Responsibilities:

    The Inbound Logistics Coordinator will work under the strategic sourcing team to coordinate the company's inbound logistics network internationally and domestically. Will work closely with both Transportation and Procurement teams to strategize and facilitate global inbound logistics in a timely and cost-effective way. Their duties and responsibilities often include:
    • Manage the flow and status of all Import purchase orders to ensure timely delivery to meet scheduled production commitment dates.
    • Communicate daily with freight forwarder/consolidator and merchants regarding routing exceptions, instructions, operating procedures, late orders and discrepancies.
    • Ensures handling and processing of import process including ISF, filing of entry/entry summary, Customs and government agency resolution, file documentation compliance and shipment customer service from beginning to end to ensure timely execution and compliance of Customs regulations as well any other governmental agencies and export shipments according to regulations and internal procedures.
    • Oversees preparation of documents such as filing tariffs, bills of lading, license agreements, and other correspondence; coordinates other paperwork and documentation necessary to comply with tariffs and customs regulations.
    • Support intercompany transfers by providing effective modes of transportation.
    • Communicate with Procurement team members, raw material suppliers and transportation to ensure timely response on time-sensitive action items.
    • Monitors shipment status of imports and exports during transport; identifies incidents and performs root cause analysis to ensure resolution of incidents, including customs delays.
    • Monitor, record, analysis and report on activities, trends, results, and recommendations related to import activities, including preparing detailed recording keeping and documentation for all import entry.
    • Work with the Accounts Payable Team to validate inbound freight invoices.
    • This contribution involves proactively supporting teambuilding initiatives, sharing best practices and innovative ideas for improvement, and communicating with others in a courteous and professional manner.
    Education, experience, and skills requirements:
    • 3+ years of experience in import and export operations.
    • Thorough knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.
    • Experience in application of the Customs valuation code, classification under the Harmonized System, duty avoidance programs and drawback, import & export entries & admissibility, preferential free trade programs, country of origin & marking determination and record keeping requirements, experience with China tariffs and PGA's (Partner Government Agencies).
    • Bilingual Preferred - Excellent verbal and written communication skill in English and Spanish.
    • Excellent organization and time management skills.
    • Ability to problem solve and interact with all levels of management.
    • Exhibit a strong analytical mindset.
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects.
