Crowley is looking for a SHE Manager (m/f/d) in Hessen

Our client is a growing medium-sized pharmaceutical and biotechnology company in Hessen, specializing in the development of medicines. The company exports its products worldwide. Due to a vacancy, we are looking for a Safety Health and Environment (SHE) Manager (m/f/d) to lead the department. You will report to the Head of Technology and be responsible for the technical and disciplinary management of the department.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading, planning, implementing, monitoring, optimizing, and establishing operational processes in the areas of environmental management, health protection, and occupational safety
  • Providing support to departments in all matters related to the above-mentioned topics
  • Conducting and documenting risk assessments for various activities
  • Advising on the design of workstations and procedures
  • Participating in the procurement of work equipment and protective gear
  • Conducting regular workplace inspections, trainings, and briefings
  • Establishing and managing operational processes in the areas of energy management, environmental protection, and occupational safety
  • Developing and maintaining integrated management systems
  • Collaborating with authorities, professional associations, works councils, and company doctors
