Chesapeake Controls is seeking an
HVAC Electrical Technician to join our Chesapeake, Virginia Team.

This position will work on a team as a commercial low-voltage rough-in installer working on projects in and around Hampton Roads.

Installation of either conduit, wire, or mounting devices - Journeyman a PLUS

Job Duties include:

Low Voltage Installation, primarily less than 24 vac / 24 VDC; to a lesser extent 120 VAC for panel power
Install conduit (all types)
Pull and terminate wires to controllers, components, and devices using wiring diagrams, and installation instructions
Install electrical wiring between controls and equipment according to wiring diagram; experience with push up ceilings, hard lid ceilings, fire demising walls, floor to floor
Understand, and work from floor plans, blueprints, specifications, and schematics
Train and mentor entry level install technicians
Work with customers onsite
Tools and techniques of the trade
Some travel required
