Description

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Manages all aspects of the of the ESG data collection process including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring, expediting, summarizing, and communicating progress at regular intervals to ensure the organization meets it annual ESG reporting deadlines.
  • Identifies and addresses limitations of ESG data.
  • Aggregates ESG data as necessary to support organizations sustainability reporting.
  • Understands our evolving ESG data needs, how our current data meets those needs; identifies, evaluates, and recommends complementary data sets.
  • Analyze existing ESG data sources and methodologies for accuracy.
  • Contributes to the development of dashboards or Power BI's to improve ESG process integration where applicable.
  • Recommends ands supports implementation of data solutions for evolving external reporting needs, including regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures that data collection, analysis and reporting projects are completed on time and within estimated costs.
  • Develops and maintains associated documentation and communications.
  • Gathers, organizes, and interprets statistical data from the database to provide reports to, and answer questions from, upper management.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience required.
  • At least three years in Data Processing, with at least two years of experience with database management systems required
  • Passion for sustainability issues and corporate responsibility.
  • Experience in the nuances of specific ESG data sets, data structure and quality of ESG ratings, scores and other data sets is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General experience utilizing business intelligence platforms and data visualization, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of computer languages used within database.
  • Understanding of database design and construction.
