- Contacts and conducts inquiries with customers, investigates damaged vehicles to determine the extent of structural, body, mechanical, and interior damage. The Collision Estimator provides the customers with dependable and reliable information, guiding them through the repair process and providing them with excellent customer service.
- Completes evaluation to document damage and work/repair orders to identify components and materials necessary. The Collision Estimator calculates labor and painting expenses to determine the total cost of repairs.
- Examines the damage of vehicles and documents necessary for repairs and parts replacement from the damage appraisal. The Collision Estimator evaluates the quality of restoration work with the Technicians. If necessary, return vehicles for additional work if they do not comply with the quality standards.
- Communicates with insurance companies regarding the estimated cost of repairs and ensure payment.
- Advanced knowledge of vehicle mechanical procedures.
- Flexible hours and travel arrangements for transporting to various destinations.
- Prior CCC1, CDK, service and estimator experience required. Pay is based on experience.
