Troubleshoot Technical/Mechanical concerns on equipment and support other skilled trades as required.Ensure list of perishables are provided to Maintenance, Tool Room and Purchasing on new equipment.
Co-responsibility for working with Quality and Tooling Engineers on FMEA's and control plans.
Interface with manufacturing and maintenance to resolve welding systems issues.
Program robots, pedestal welders, and all other types of welding related equipment.
Assist Quality Assurance department in maintaining welding integrity. Interface with manufacturing and maintenance to resolve welding and welding systems issues. Program robots, pedestal welders, and all other types of welding related equipment.
Train, coach and mentor the welding process for weld engineers, manufacturing and skilled trades colleagues.
Direct and/or participate in root cause analysis and tam problem solving activities (e.g. 8D reports, department meetings, etc.)
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in weld engineering/technology from four-year college or university; five years plus related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Hands on experience in manual and automated welding process'.Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook Highly Desired Skills
