THE COMPANY

Our client, based in Hamm, sees itself as a holistic solution provider for any special tasks related to demanding welding applications. With over 500 employees, the Hamm location is part of an international steel and technology group with over employees.

THE POSITION

Reports to the Managing Director and the COO of the group.
Works closely with the production department.
Manages 50 employees in the fields of mechanics, electrical engineering, construction, and facility management.
Responsible for approximately 60 interconnected core systems and 40 auxiliary units.
Carries out several hundred maintenance measures per month.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical and disciplinary management of the following areas: mechanical maintenance, electrical maintenance including control technology, construction, maintenance work preparation, facility management, toolmaking and provision, and industrial training
Ensuring optimal availability and further development of technical systems in close cooperation with production, process safety, production planning, and logistics
Improving the condition and utilization rate of the systems (OEE)
Developing concepts for digital transformation and optimizing business processes
Supporting project management for new investments and technical clarification with suppliers and service providers
Responsible for annual planning and monitoring of maintenance budget,
