    Position: Commercial Construction Project Manager - Healthcare & Life Sciences

    Job Description: A Project Manager (PM) is responsible for developing, coordinating, implementing, and overseeing all aspects essential to complete the project within the set timeframe, budget, and specified quality standards. The PM acts as a leader, serving as a bridge between project team members to advance the interests of both the business and clients, embodying the qualities of a mid-level leader. This role holds primary responsibility for the construction project.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain adherence to HITT's safety standards, ensuring proper documentation is filed
    • Create and manage project budgets for all assigned projects
    • Develop and collaborate on pre-construction RFP packages
    • Lead project meetings, establish milestones, and prepare monthly owner reports
    • Implement job processes such as RFIs, submittals, and pay applications; approve pay applications and negotiate subcontract change orders
    • Handle project scheduling, ensure quality control, and manage overall project logistics
    • Efficiently manage the closeout process
    • Engage with new and existing customers to understand their requirements and explain how our services meet their needs
    • Supervise assistant operations support roles including assistant project manager, administrative assistant, MEP managers, safety team members, etc.
    • Collaborate with the project superintendent and site operations team throughout the project lifecycle

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma required; a four-year degree from an accredited university with a focus on construction, engineering, or business is preferred
    • Significant (5+ years) experience in commercial construction, with exposure to a commercial general contractor
    • Prior experience in a project management capacity with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Proficiency in sector/project-specific software systems including Microsoft Office suite, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, JD Edwards, etc.
    • Expertise in interpreting construction drawings and updating related project documents
    • Strong organizational skills to manage resources efficiently and meet deadlines
    • Knowledge of market conditions, pricing conventions, and trends
