We, the Malteser Werke, have been supporting governments and municipalities for over 30 years in providing dignified accommodation and care for refugees.

We create perspectives by preparing refugees for their new life in Germany and accompanying them on their individual journey.

We are looking for employees to join our team in Ellwangen/Jagst on January 1st, 2023 to support us in caring for the residents at our facility.

What to expect from us:

Accompanying and supporting residents in their daily lives
Conducting various gendersensitive and ageappropriate activities with residents
Mediating and deescalating in conflict situations
Working in shifts (morning, afternoon, and night shifts)

What we expect from you:

Personal commitment and joy in working with people from different cultural backgrounds
Empathy and a sensitive approach to the special problems of the residents
Teamoriented, flexible, and goaloriented action
Ability to mediate and deescalate
Independent, structured, and trustworthy work style
Good German language skills both oral and written and ideally another foreign language, preferably Turkish, Arabic, Ukrainian, or Russian
Good computer skills in common office programs
