Position Purpose:


The Housing Unit Clerk position has the focus of entering data into the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) data system as provided by the Projects for Assistance in Transition from Homelessness (PATH) team.

The Unit Clerk will be responsible for keeping up to date data in the HMIS system and will be responsible for reconciling data completeness reports.

This position will also manage spreadsheets for the Housing programs and other data entry as well as assist with accepting and managing rent payments.

This position works directly with the data management system as well as directly with the Mental Health Housing and Homeless Teams.


Job Requirements:


  • GED or High School Diploma
  • Valid Driver's License

Qualifications:


  • Experience in the mental health field preferred
  • Skilled in behavioral management techniques preferred

Essential Responsibilities:


  • Data entry into Homeless Management Information System (HMIS)
  • Manage excel spreadsheets for Housing programs
  • Assist with processing rent payments for Housing programs
  • Prepare reports for grant deliverables
  • Interact with other providers of homeless services and community resources
  • Identify and address gaps in identified service provisions
  • Complete all necessary documentation within established time frames
  • Participate in Quality Improvement as assigned
  • Participate in all required workshops/seminars and attend all mandated trainings
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently to every consumer
  • Serve as a role model and demonstrate positive guest relations in representing the agency

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:30am-5pm
