Your Role and Responsibilities

Provides expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design. Responsible for designing/configuring business processes in SAP. Requires strong organization and communication skills and knowledge of SAP functional areas, especially the MM module. Introduces innovative approaches and methodologies for processes and support systems.


This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security clearance or above. US Citizenship is required

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 10 or more years of SAP experience
  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) experience in one or more SAP functional area/module, including Supply Master Data (SMD)
  • Expertise in Master Data and Materials Master
  • Experience in designing/configuring business processes in SAP Materials Management (MM)
  • Has and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments
  • Bachelor's degree in a recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher. US Citizenship Required.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • 5 or more years of experience with: IDOCs, Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), Purchase Info Records, Order Fulfillment (OF), and Supply Master Data
  • Federal experience with DoD and Navy ERP/IT architectures
  • Experience in post golive production support and break/fix
  • Focus on customer service and responsiveness, with sound customer handling skills
  • Experience in software development lifecycle surrounding requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, test (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting SAP MM module (in a Tier 3 environment)
