What's the Role?
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Patient Care Coordinator.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical office and providing exceptional administrative support, being the face of the practice with a lot of room to grow with us.

Duties:

• Greet and checkin patients upon arrival, ensuring accurate and uptodate information
• Schedule appointments for patients, coordinating with our healthcare provider and other staff members
• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing excellent customer service
• Maintain patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
• Verify insurance information and process necessary paperwork
• Assist with billing and coding tasks as needed
• Coordinate referrals to specialists or other healthcare facilities
• Collaborate with the medical team to ensure efficient patient flow and optimal patient care
• Perform general administrative duties such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Skills:

• Previous experience in an office setting, preferably in a medical or dental office
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Proficient in using computer systems and electronic medical records software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy

Pay:
$ $24.58 per hour
