Job Summary:

Duties:

• Manage and supervise a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
• Schedule and prioritize service appointments to maximize efficiency
• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary parts and supplies
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Develop and implement strategies to increase service department revenue
• Conduct regular performance evaluations for service department staff
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall dealership operations

Experience:

To be successful in this role, the Automotive Service Manager should have the following qualifications:

• Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in the automotive industry
• Proven track record in sales management and achieving revenue targets
• Strong cash handling skills and ability to manage financial transactions accurately
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team building and employee development
• Exceptional time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, and profit margins
• Ability to negotiate with vendors for favorable pricing and terms
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
• Experience in inventory control is preferred
