Job Summary:
Duties:
- Manage and supervise a team of service advisors, technicians, and support staff
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns
- Schedule and prioritize service appointments to maximize efficiency
- Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure availability of necessary parts and supplies
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Develop and implement strategies to increase service department revenue
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for service department staff
- Collaborate with other departments to improve overall dealership operations
Experience:
To be successful in this role, the Automotive Service Manager should have the following qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or similar role in the automotive industry
- Proven track record in sales management and achieving revenue targets
- Strong cash handling skills and ability to manage financial transactions accurately
- Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team building and employee development
- Exceptional time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in basic math calculations for pricing, discounts, and profit margins
- Ability to negotiate with vendors for favorable pricing and terms
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
- Experience in inventory control is preferred
Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
