    Responsibilities:


    • Collects and analyzes data to help the DAO make informed decisions.
    • Entails undertaking data collection from multiple sources, including primary, secondary, internal, and external sources to generate relevant data for analysis.
    • Involves analyzing and interpreting collected data using statistical tools and applications software packages.
    • Interprets the raw data and identifies any patterns in it to provide clarity to the nontechnical audience.
    • Creates visualizations, including dashboards, flowcharts, and graphs to relay business concepts through visuals to staff, colleagues, and stakeholders.
    • Provides geospatial and social network analysis.
    • Explore and examine data from multiple disparate sources with the goal of discovering patterns.
    • Compiles Excel spreadsheets and uses Visual Basic for Applications to make data visible before analysis.
    • Involves coding and re-coding data contained within various databases to identify patterns.
    • Maintains databases or data systems, as well as identifies new process improvement opportunities.
    • Performs various functions, including data collection and analysis to identify useful trends and provide management with relevant information that will facilitate informed decisions.
    • Utilizes historical data sets and planned product changes to model and forecast trends.
    • Tracks and reports on department initiatives and status reports.
    • Analyzes IHSC program's operations for trends, volume, demographics, and performance metrics to support decisions.
    • Updates and manages information in a web-based case management system.
    • Acts on cases and provides case summaries for referral to relevant unit for follow-up review and action.
    • Logs information into the Tableau business intelligence and analytics database of the organization.
    • Utilizes the Tableau analytics database and dashboards to conduct statistical analysis and ad hoc reporting, as required.
    • Provides support with technical writing and editing, as required.
    • Develops analytics to identify trend lines across several data sources within the
    • organization.
    • Applies predictive analysis and tools to forecast and employ business analytics, including an enhanced ability to quantify and qualify data.
    • Undertakes operational research to identify and recommend optimal/near-optimal solutions to complex challenges.
    • Attends DAO data team meetings and IHSC staff meetings.
    • Performs other taskings within the PWS, as assigned by HITU/IMS/DAO

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

    • Has an initial level of understanding about maintaining and complying with requirements for the following task areas: collecting, compiling, processing, normalizing, analyzing and interpreting data using and configuring systems support tools such as SAS, R, Tableau, Access, SharePoint, Power Apps and Excel.
    • Experience with documenting and reviewing data sharing agreements,
    • Customer service and communication skills relaying technical concepts.
    • Experience with managing data quality, cleansing, tagging, archiving and metadata management.
    • Experience with testing and implementing application software with regards to collecting, processing, and storing data.

    Education:

    • Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science (BA/BS) degree required in Statistics, Biostatistics, Data Science, Information Management, or a closely related field.

    Experience:

    • At least three (3) years of data analytics-related experience or relevant/similar experience
