Description
Inspecting the quality of materials used to make sure they are suitable for use in construction projects- Operating machinery such as forklifts or bulldozers to move materials
- Loading and unloading trucks with materials for construction projects
- Operating hand tools such as shovels, picks, and hammers to break up soil or break apart rocks
- Performing manual labor tasks such as digging holes and trenches using hand tools or heavy machinery
- Mixing chemicals in order to ensure that soil is suitable for the construction project at hand
- Preparing the site for construction by clearing away debris, leveling the ground, and removing any unwanted vegetation
- Installing pipes, cable lines, and other underground utilities using heavy equipment such as backhoes or bulldozers.
- Excavating largescale projects such as building foundations, roadways, and sewer systems
Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
Expected hours:
