    Compensation Range: $23.62/hour

    FLSA Status: Nonexempt (Hourly)

    Work Location: Warner Center, Fourth Floor, 332 Fifth Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA

    Schedule: Occasional evenings and weekends as needed.

    Travel Required: Some travel may be required.

    The Opportunity:

    Be part of a team striving to make a difference The Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh (ULGP), an organization dedicated to the economic self-reliance, parity, power, and civil rights of African Americans and other underserved in the Greater Pittsburgh area.

    As the Career Navigator/Opportunity Broker you would work in targeted communities to help move people from unemployed and underemployed to economic self-sufficiency. Assist in the development, roll out and integration of a new formulated program in the Pittsburgh communities of Homewood, Hill District, North Side and Mon Valley. Establish a paradigm for building relations and networks within the community and region to social services, opportunities for education, training, and employment, with other community resources in targeted neighborhoods, and with community- based individuals/influencers. Be a critical part of our One Pittsburgh Now strategy to reduce poverty in the region.

    Requirements:
    • One year of experience

    Education: No education required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

    Experience: previous work experience in social services, case management, coaching or related required.

    Required Clearances, Licenses, and Certifications:

    • Candidates are expected to provide current, valid clearances (Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Fingerprints Clearance, and PATCH) prior to their first day of employment.
    • Candidates must have proof of full COVID 19 vaccination status OR be willing to obtain the COVID vaccine OR provide an applicable medical/religious exemption prior to the first day of employment.
